What is Udyam Registration?
Udyam Registration, also known as MSME Registration, is the new and improved, paperless registration process for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. It replaced the older Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) and provides a permanent registration number and a certificate.
How to convert my old Udyog Aadhar (UAM) to Udyam?
All existing Udyog Aadhar holders were required to migrate to the new Udyam portal. If you haven't, your UAM is likely invalid. You must apply for a fresh Udyam Registration. The process is the same as for a new business, and we can help you do it for free.
I lost my Udyam number. How can I find it?
You can recover your Udyam Registration Number (URN) from the official government portal. There is a "Forgot Udyam/UAM Number" option. You will need to use the mobile number or email address that you provided during registration to receive an OTP and retrieve your number.
How can I update my mobile number, email, or address?
You can update your details through the official Udyam portal. You need to log in using your URN and the OTP sent to your registered mobile/email. From there, you can access the "Update/Cancel Udyam Registration" section to edit your information.
What documents are required for this free service?
For a proprietorship firm, we only need your Aadhaar Card number and PAN Card number. It is essential that your Aadhaar is linked to a mobile number to receive the OTP for verification. For other types of businesses (like partnerships or private limited), we will guide you on the simple additional details needed.
